Film Photography During the Pandemic
The Black and White Film was taken during a walk around the Cleveland Circle Area of Brighton Ma.
The color images were taken 1 year apart on the same on roll. First images were taken during during a relationship that stemmed from isolation. The second from a place in time were I felt the most isolated.

Info
During A time focused on isolation and avoidance, I found my self in the start of the 2020 pandemic with a sense of direction and passion. I ended up meeting someone during that summer and together we isolated. We avoided all sense of responsibilities, bounced back and fourth between each others places, and biked all around the city. And rather than feeling alone and scared during the uncertain times, I was learning more about myself and what I like and don't like.
These photos contrast themselves in the sense that the color images where everything is so busy and overlapping, defines the energy exuded during summer of 2020. the B/W images taken in the summer of 2021 gives a feeling of abandonment even though social distancing measures had been dismissed and life was "back to normal".
